Bloomberg Says Law Hurts Radio Efforts
WASHINGTON (AP) -- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg urged Congress on Monday to scrap a rule on emergency radio transmissions that he argues hurts his city, which has invested millions of dollars in upgrading police and fire communications since the 2001 terror attacks.
