APCO Asks FCC to Investigate Jamming Devices and Suppliers

The Association of Public-Safety Communications (APCO) International sent a letter to FCC urging the commission to take aggressive enforcement action against entities that manufacture, import, market or use devices designed to interfere with wireless telephone or other radio communications in violation of Section 333 of the Communications Act. The letter said the commission should also dismiss requests for special temporary authority (STA) to test such devices.
