The FCC will discuss Part 90 public-safety rules at its next open meeting scheduled for April 8. The meeting will include a report and order and further notice of proposed rulemaking addressing miscellaneous Part 90 public-safety rules, including the 4.9 GHz band.

The meeting also includes an agenda item on national broadband initiatives.
