Washington, D.C. – The Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety and Homeland
Security Bureau (Bureau) today announced that it will host a Summit on Lessons Learned:
Hurricane Season 2008 to be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the
Commission Meeting Room (TW-C305).
The Summit will focus on communications and coordination between state, local and federal
governments, healthcare and industry in preparation for and response to the 2008 storms. The
