APCO APPLAUDS INTRODUCTION OF BIPARTISAN LEGISLATION TO ALLOCATE THE D BLOCK TO PUBLIC SAFETY

April 21, 2010, Alexandria, Va.- The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International today applauded Reps. Peter King (3rd Dist., NY), Anh Cao (2nd Dist., LA), Yvette Clarke (11th Dist., NY), Candice Miller (10th Dist., MI) and Mike Rogers (3rd Dist., AL) for their introduction of bipartisan legislation to allocate the D Block spectrum to public safety for the development of a national interoperable public safety broadband network.
