An Icon Passes

Art McDole, a true pioneer of public safety communications, has passed on.  He will not be forgotten.  Art lived in Salinas, CA and was an indelible part of the public safety communications scene in California...and the nation.  While Art lived in California, his heart was with Mary, his wife who preceded his departure, with maybe a little heart left over for his favorite fishing hole in Colorado.  But Art's soul was firmly behind many of the developments in public safety communications.  His touch is everywhere, including the wireless broadband developments of late.  While his light has dimmed, the afterglow will continue on.

Art, above all you were a true gentleman.  I will miss our "old times" conversations.
